Finding a Responsible Breeder

Buyers Beware! We do not take deposits for puppies. Due to Covid-19, many people are shopping for puppies and sadly, there are a lot of fraudulent people peddling puppies they do not even have or sending pedigrees that are not from dogs they even own. Please, DO NOT send money to anyone who can't prove that they have puppies, anyone who is not willing to talk to you and keep in contact up until the puppies can leave (minimum 8 weeks!) Anyone who magically always has puppies is also a concern as most will have a waiting list. If money seems to be the only factor for a breeding program, run! Our dogs participate in AKC events, we have photos of past wins as well as our dogs being loved in our home along with OFA health testing and being members of the American Whippet Club. Consider the source of your puppies. If the breeder is not treating their dogs with all of the love in the world, do not buy.
